About the Position:

This position is in our Customer Contact Center, answering customer inquiries regarding service, billing, and payments.

During your shift, you will be on the telephone talking with National Grid customers.  Must be comfortable with heavy phone work, data entry, always demonstrating a helpful and pleasant attitude.

Must be willing to work  shifts, which include weekends and most holidays.  Nights may be the prevalent shift.

There is required training the first 3 -4 weeks of your employment

(Monday – Friday 8:30 – 5:15).

Hourly Rate: $15.00

Job Qualifications:

  • Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or GED.
  • This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.
  • Preference will be given to multi lingual candidates; Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian and those candidates with prior customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic is required.
  • There are comprehensive benefits with this position available after 90 days of successful employment.
